how can i set up an aerial

does anyone know the best way to find the compass bearing for my nearest tv transmitter (storeton, wirral) i need it to point the aerial in roughly the right direction. thanks in advance !

Hi Paul.
You could try fixing the aerial >>some general tips here with a little help from somebody in side the house with a mobile phone, you just keep turning it till you get the best reception. good luck (:O)

thanks guys, 319 degrees. bit of head scratching to relate that to my compass direction should do it, north north west i think. mind you if i point it roughly at birkenhead ..
