Default viewer

How can I make Picassa my default picture viewer when I click on 'My Pictures' folder,instead of the Windows viewer,etc. ? or any other viewer programme that I have on disk?
Any help, in English (simple) will be most appreciated

right click on a photo file in my pictures folder,scroll to "open with" highlight entry for picassa,put a tick in the box at the bootm left "always use this programme
