Shrove Tuesday - Pancake Day

Do you make a point of having pancakes on pancake day? Do you eat them other times of the year?

When I was little we only had them once a year on Shrove Tuesday, but since I moved out of home I discovered you can eat things when you like and have pancakes probably monthly now!

I like lemon and sugar, or maple syrup, or strawberry jam. What do you do with yours? :-)

Hi Nat - thank you for asking after Milly.

She still had such sad eyes when I picked her up, ah! I opened up her basket as soon as we got it & she went to walk up the stairs, but fell sideways, as she was still quite drousy.

She's now fast asleep on her favourite knitted cushion & will hopefully have a drink & eat some chicken or fish a bit later. :+}
