my friend is being left out

one of my closest friends is being left out by her so called best friend, but since we started high school her best friend has been leavin her out and being mean to her and telling her new friends everything my friend has said. i feel sorry for her. her best friend was nice but now shes horrible. my friend hangs out with me and my friends now, which i dont mind, but when her best friends other friends arent in she will try to hang out with us which i dont think is fair because she doesnt let my friend go with her. and she will shout at her if she doesnt wait for her after lessons even though she doesnt wait for my friend. what should i tell my friend to 2 or what shoud i do??

If you care about her then be best friends with her yourself. This other so-called best-friend doesn't sound like much of a friend if you ask me.
