Hi
I have my PC hooked up to AOL using a Netgear router which is attached with the ethernet cable. I want to attach another PC in my home to this wireless network and have bought a Netgear USB wireless 'stick'. The problem is, that when I try installing the USB stick, it cannot fully install as it cannot find a wireless network to hook up with(although my AOL is attached and working fine in my main PC). I am baffled and I bet it really easy to do. Can anyone give me a step by step process in networking these two PCs?

Hi, run the aol install disc again & select the option add a pc to your network. ( that is I am presuming you set it up for wireless when you first set up the router).
I assume that the "stick" is stuck into a desktop (because lappy have come with wifi for ages now)

1 which port is it in? .... if it's at the back - you won't get much
2 Have you installed the drivers for the "stick" (generally you install the drivers THEN insert the usb thingy - I'd expect the netgear adapter to come with a setup routine

if not
if XP
open my network places run the setup a wireless network
if vista
