Yes as far as i am aware they can! they are specially trained to smell out all drugs.
what circumstances would this be in?

They most definitely can smell cocaine. They use them in the pubs around here to sniff out all drugs but especially coke.

If you wrap the wrap with coffee, then a wrap of pepper, then another wrap of coffee this hides the smell! So i am told! never tried it but been told it works!

A sniffer dog would not be fooled by the coffee trick that has been suggested, a dog can search for a specific person across ground where there are 1000's of strong smells, they are asked to find a particular item and they can pick it out from all the other aromas around it.

they can always detect drugs of any kind. they are highly trained and very rarely miss anything
