What can I do with my old CDs?

I have a couple of hundred old CDs and CD singles that I am quite sure I wouldnt be able to sell on ebay (The Outhere Brothers anyone?) and I wouldn't have thought a charity shop would be interested. Obviously now I'm all iPodded up and have no use for them but it seems a shame to just throw them away. Any ideas anyone? I'm not bothered about getting money for them, so long as they went to a good home. Or does the dustbin loom for Chesney Hawkes and co?

take them down to your local charity shop, let them decide if they can sell them or not. perhaps find out if they can be recycled?
Cash Converters would take them and give you a few quid.

they're having some sort of appeal where you can hand in CD's.
