I am with Orange/virgin media, or whatever they are called these days. I pay 18 a month for what comes down the line at 1 to 2meg a time!! I have been trying to change to a cheaper service but all I get is someone trying to flog me phone and tv and phone stuff grrrrrrrrrr!! Anyway does anyone know a way to just simply change from one to another. I have been with the same people for about 5 tears and am sure I`m paying over the odds. Also what service would you suggest I go for?? Regards

Orange and Virgin are seperate companies - and if it is Virgin it is probably a non-bt cable line. If you don't have any sort of bt line you will have to pay a connection fee and probably be contracted to bt for 12 months.
If it is Orange, you are using a bt line of sorts and your choice will be much wider.

If you are leaving Virgin then you will need a BT line
if there was a BT line already in your abode before you had cable then it can be reactivated and then you have the line rental of 11 per month.
if there is no BT line whatsoever then you will have a one off installation charge of 124 charge and then the 11 per month.
look at O2 they have excellent deals at the moment
