For something slightly weirder, I'd have to recommend the Boards Of Canada's "Music Has The Right To Children", I'd never heard anything like it before.
Maybe also, Kruder and Dorfmeister 'The K&D Sessions', some very laid-back remixes.
And to end with, how about the Gotan Project's "La Revancha del Tango"? Not quite as 'chilled' but very listenable instrumental music with a European/Latin feel.
[By the way, none of these records above are at all obscure, I'm not trying to be poncey! :) ]
