iTunes library horror

Help! I recently moved my iTunes music to an external hard drive, but when I tried to get into iTunes this morning it only showed the library as it was some days ago before I added about 20GB extra music. All my music is in the iTunes music folder but seems to have disappeared from the library. Please help! Urgent!

Make sure your external drive library is stil set in preferences->advanced.

Try choosing file->add folder to library in iTunes.

Choose your library folder you made on the external drive.

Hopefully this'll add the music back. Then I'd run consolidate library from the advanced menu.
