Will being slightly colourblind affect someones chances of entering the police force?

This all depends upom which country you are in. in the UK, it will also depend upon each individual constabulary's eye tests requirrements. When i passed as a Special Constable Lincolnshire said i had to score a minimum of 7 out of 10 in the colour blind test...scored 8. So I guess the main answer is that it depends on the force you are joining...but in the main i should say it does not have to be a serious problem...you can stil get in.
