Interference on my telephone when attached to ADSL splitter

I get a hissing and crackle when my phone is attached to the ADSL splitter, which is attached to a Netgear wireless

1 Do you have a filter at EVERY socket?
2 They do that sometimes

Try swapping filters round 'till you find the right combination (also disconnect all phones - reconnect each in turn ... then)

Or you can use two filters in the same socket ...
finally - a single adapter is excellent
