Cannot install program

I had Inksaver installed and it started showing an error message. I then uninstalled and downloaded it again, but, when I tried the new install, I then had the warning that it was still installed on the computer and should be removed before installing the new program
It does not appear in Add/Remove, and I have already removed the folder. "Search" does not bring anything up at all, but I keep getting this message. Safe mode does not work for it either.
I have contacted the company but so far no response.
Any suggestions on a cure would be most welcome.

Please cancel - company has come through and acknowledged this was a peculiar event. A removal tool, and a further back up was provided and did the job.
