had a wierd flashback today!!!!. i'm sure that when i was a kid i had a bus/clippie thing as a presant.and also a barbers set ...talking late 60's here. and i am sure in 1968 my brother got a com[plete cowboy outfit...dressed on a .. cowboy cutout!. sorry but i have been out on the beeer'
one more before i go to bed and pass out. how did girls at school do those oriigami things,,you know. pick a number,,, pick a colour etc................
Do you want to know how to make one - or just wondered why we did it?? Lol.
Stewey - ot was barbaric indeed, but not as bad as "scalping" one of my sister's dolls - the poor thing had to live with it until she went to the great big dolly place in the sky. Sad.
THIS IS WHER IT GETS SCARY.. I AM SURE MY FRIEND \(MONICA AGAIN) did not have "barbie" she had ,... sally,,,,i don;y t know if this is just a weird memotrY , burt anyway she wenT the sewing mascHINE RANT. I BOUGHT A BOX OF MILK TRAY FOR VALENTINES DAT.. THEY PLAYED "LIVER BIRDS,I WAS THE DUMPED GUY.. THANK YOU AND ..GOOD NIGHT
Not sure, but I wouldn't want to be a Sally doll at their place right now. Seems to be a lot of childhood anger there about being dumped for a box of Milk Tray. lol lol
Woooo-haaaa! Read it again and....no - stumped. I think they're wrong about the Milk Tray - it must've been Famous Names, 'cos it sounds rather like someone's had a lickul drinkie....
oh dear. i must have been drunker than i thought. apologies all aroud.to translate. when i was 12 i was "going out"with a girl called jackie and bought her a box of milk tray chocolates.she however had decided to dump me but didn't tell me till i'd handed the choccies over !. monica told me that they played at liver birds (off the telly) and pretended that the chocs were off a boyfriend.sorry if this is confusing but there wasn't a lot to do in runcorn in1976 (there still isn't )
