Speeding fine

Today we received a speeding fine 36 in a 30 mph limit we have no trouble in holding our hands up but dont know if it was myself or my husband driving, we daily take the route to pick up our son, they say they have photographic evidence will this suffice?Julie

I think it was me, my husband thinks it was him, my 11yr son thinks it was his father! see the prob you can be charged up to a �1,000 if you give the wrong information its all the same kitty Julie
This happened to me a few years ago - I contacted the police and asked them if they could see who it was in the photo - and even mentioned that it should be easy to tell as I am of Asian origin and over 6foot tall where as my wife is white and 5 foot 5".
The police said that they could not tell from the picture and suggested (off the record) that we should toss for it

Sorry Julie, didnt mean to sound rude. However, with respect, there are too many people saying they dont know who was driving. What i think you are trying to say is what will happen if you say you dont know? In my view the law should be changed so that the registered driver is liable. in these circumstances.
The registered keeper will be ultimately liable if you do not know who was driving - 6 penalty points and a fine for not naming the driver.
