Auto Complete

Can someone help me please - how do I turn Auto Complete on in Windows XP - when I do a search in Google it's not remembering previous searches and it's a pain typing the same thing over and over again!

Selct tools, internet options, advanced, tick auto complete.

Start up your Internet Explorer.

Tools>Options>Content>Personal Information>Auto complete.
Here you can un/tick whichever function you want IE to remember.

Thanks but tried all that - think it's 'cos the auto control box was not checked when it first came up - any other suggestions?
