Quite possibly the most famous and controversial automobile in modern history, JFK was riding in a 1961 Lincoln Continental Four-Foor convertible limousine, VIN # 1Y86H405950 when he was assassinated. The car was custom built by Hess and Eisenhardt and was known as the X-100.At the time of the indident, the car was painted dark blue and had a 1962 grille. It was later returned to H and E for extensive modifications, including armor plating, and was fitted with a 1964 grille and repainted black at the request of President Johnson.
I understand the vehicle is now in the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan. No blood stains, apparently.
