hot water but no heating

Hi-my combi boiler is producing hot wter but no heat. the thermostat seems to still click when turned up-what could be wrong?

Sounds like the diverter valve. Usually operates supplying the heating until there is a demand for hot water. Then the valve moves to supply hot water. You can operate most of these valves manually until you get it changed.
