Cottage in cornwall?
6 Answers
Hi,
This is a VERY long shot, but i thought it might be worth while trying.
I'm trying to find a self catering cottage i stayed in about 5 years ago in Devon. I couldn't even tell you where in Devon (i know, i know, its a big place!) but i will describe it.
It was one big house where the elderly owners had shut off the left half of it for holiday makers. It was shut off by a big door with a heavy red velvet curtain over it. It had a little stream with a natural bridge over it outside the front (which you had to drive over to leave), it had a double room, and a room with two single beds, it had a field out the back with a duck/chicken pen in it (it was up a bit of a slope), and it had a little sun capture patio bit to the right of the property with a picnic table. It had a balcony which the first floor looked over onto the living room. I guess there must have been sheep nearby too because i remember hearing them in the morning.
As i say, i know this is a very long shot but any ideas would be greatly received.
Thank-you in advance
Kind Regards
Moonstone

It would help a lot if you could narrow it down a bit. Was it near a town, near the coast, near a main road etc?
If you stayed there 5 years ago and the owners were elderly, maybe they don't do tourist lets any more.
