I have searched high and low, even went onto a BT forum, and no one seems to know what the peak times are for the BT Broadband Fair Usage. I was under the impression that the fair usage applies between the house of 5pm and 12 midnight, or thereabouts, but no one seems to know, its not even mentioned in their Terms and Conditions.

Anyone actually know???????

Not sure at all, but I thought broadband providers reserve the right to restrict at any time of high usage.

BT state that they only chekc your usage at peak times, and that you are free to download as much as you like, if you have unlimited access, at any other times. But theydont state what the peak times are....anywhere!
I would think you are in the zone
every one else seems to be having the same difficulty defining EXACTLY what and when

the general gist seems to be
business should be about 08:00-18:00
domestic 18:00 - 22 or23:00
and a limit of 40-50Gb per month.

but panic is also right ....
all ISPs reserve the right ......
