I read a story about teenagers inventing a whole new slang based on the predictive text function used to send messages on mobile phones. They're replacing the words they mean with the first alternative that comes up when typing a message. So "book" means "cool" - because book is the word that first comes up when you type cool into your phone using predictive text. And when teenagers say "zonino!" it means "woohoo!" and when they refer to someone's "nun" they mean their mum. Have you ever text something that you shouldn't. I once text a friend saying I was out for a "neck" with someone when I meant "meal". ...oo-er!!

Not texting but along similar lines

my fella emailed a friend of his that he hadnt seen for ages. He emailed all about his recent hobby, FISHING, and said how much he liked doing something he was good at and how he'd written a few articles for websites that are purely for enthusiasts like him.

Shame he missed the H and accidentally pressed a T in the word fishing.

Surprisingly his friend hasnt replied either.
lol!
Good ones -lol

I'm useless at texting so mine just come out like that naturally -lol
