I'm on a roll......

A man who likes nothing more than going walking has been reunited with his false teeth more than a year after losing them in the Lake District. He'd just climbed the Haystacks in January last year when he got a little bit stopped for a chocolate bar. Popped out his dental plate and wrapped them up in a hanky but left them behind. You'd think he'd feel like he was missing something. Last month some other walker found the teeth. He put an advert in the lost and found section of a walking magazine and Mr toothless got in touch. Have you ever been reunited with something that you thought you might never see again? Maybe you've been reunited with a friend from your past...lets hear your stories.

A friend of mine was walking along with another pal, and burst out laughing at something that was said. Her false teeth flew out and landed in the road. As she was about to retrive them, a car pulled alongside them to turn into a driveway. Not only did it run over the teeth, but they stuck to the ridges in the tyre. My friend chased after them, and managed to pull them free. Although they were damaged, at least she was reunited!
When I was in traffic warden training, many years ago, my trainer was one of the first wardens. On school crossing duty one morning a woman approached to say she had been taking her gloves off finger by finger with her teeth. Her false teeth had come out and fell straight down a drain.
My colleague advised contacting the council. During her afternoon crossing duty she saw her with the council lorry which sucked out the drain and deposited the contents in the road. The womans teeth were there. She picked them up, rubbed them with her hanky - and popped them straight back into her mouth!
