Very likely, Doc.

The second picture I have seen of your dwelling place Doc. Lucky you!

Hi Lofty, next door actually. Thought it was funny when I saw it yesterday.
You maybe have visiting cats, even if you don't have one of your own. There may be a sparrowhawk or similar bird of prey in the area. If your garden is very tidy and you use pesticides and herbicides, there may be nothing much for birds to eat. Do you put food out for them? Do the birds visit your neighbours' gardens or are you near to a park or in a countryside area? - in which case you will need to make a positive effort to attract them with different types of feeders and bowls of water big enough to bathe in. Good luck!
erm, marv, I think the clue was in the picture :o)

lovely one it is too...just caught a moggy shinning up my tree after the birds, tut.

Cheers Marve. We do feed the wild birds but at a safe height.
That was amusing Doc - looks like the nut feeder's hanging from the cat's tail too! ;o}
Sprocket - are there other cats around? That big cat might be the culprit.
And I just get dam pidgeons nicking my nuts!
Why do you have your nuts exposed? Put them up before the get all pecked! lol

Great Doc. This pic has lifted my spirit. I am also envious of the rolling garden, even if it is your neighbour's.
