Fishy Scottish quiz

Fill in the blanks with the name of a fish.
That ---------style disna suit her,especially the short bits on top s---------ed up with gel.
The style would refer to a hairstyle and sorry but there's no clue to the amount of letters.

Thanks both of you, I'd never heard of a mullet hairstyle, and I wondered about pike but the clue gives you the "e" in pike but it could be an error in the quiz.

I've already used plaice, maybe perch? but that's not very boisterous I thought.
