Low blood pressure?????
Hello all.
I'm 25 weeks pregnant and at the moment feeling the usual week and lethargic. I have a home testing blood pressure monitor (which I had to have last time due to pre-eclampsia).... anyway......
I checked my BP and it was 110 over 62 (which for me is VERY low) as normally its around 140/75.
Although 110/62 is in a normal bracket, do you think this is low?
I know that I should ask a professional, but I just wanted a bit of advice if anyone has this at all?

With my last pregnancy 160/110 was quite normal for me, but with this pregnancy i have consistantly been low and as low as yours with no concerns from midwife.
Just make sure that if it makes you feel dizzy that you sit down and recover rather than trying to overdo things.

Ye I think I will, I've never had it this low for as long as I can remember! I do feel dizzy sometimes but just stuff my face thinking I need food!
Cheers Red (hope your bump is doing well, I've found out I'm having a girl so I'll have one of each) but she's already a little witch keeping me up all night kicking!

My son will be 4 in March. He did worry to begin with until he realised there is a Pink Power Ranger!
I just gave a ring to my GP and spoke to the nurse there. She said that I should be happy about maintaining a good blood pressure and that it is a healthy result. She thought I should check it again in a week, but because I have no other symptoms, she thought I was fine!
I will check again though in a few days and as long as it doesn't go down further, I think panic is over!
