Er, no, they're far from interchangeable. The subconscious mind is on the fringes of consciousness and contains material which it is possible to become aware of; by redirecting attention. The unsconscious mind is that part of the mind containing instincts, impulses, images, and ideas that are not available for direct examination, ie are inaccessible to the conscious mind.
