I've always found beehives to be a strange and fascinating choice of hairstyle. In my opinion Amy Winehouse's looks like a moth eaten old wig though. Well I like her music so I reckon I can forgive her bad taste in hair-dos.

the beehives of the sixties were amazing, and the longer you left your hair without washing, the easier the back coming was to do!!!! lol

The elegant "up" hairdo's, the ones with the loops and twists on top of the head could be kept up for a week!! by wrapping the top in toilet paper when you went to bed!!!
