I just counted 14 magpies together in a tree at the bottom of our garden!

I'm surprised that they are not becoming very territorial at this time of year as they surely can't be all from the same family, can they?

I have never seen so many at once before; is it unusual?

Are there any more lines to the old verse?:

Wonder if they're all starting to nest in the same area Steve? Maybe your garden's a great source of food!! I've seen quite a few in ours as well - but didn't count them.
