just so's you don't mind when your own bank fails and takes your savings with it. Don't come to me begging for a handout, ok?
Oh I don;t get it either, it is one of those nervy twitchy financial stories that we are not meant to understand, but I know in a year or so it will be something people refer back to with an 'I told you so' attitude.
you know the news isnt personalised...its about other people's problems as well....

But who has lost out?????????????

Nobody.

Everyday thousands of Brits lose money on shares, hell I have lost before. The stock exchange is a gamble. WHO CARES???

And it is such a boring story.
But the National Debt has increased by 55bn so I would rather know that than not.

National debt smational smet.

(is that an adult-worthy reply?)
No. (But it made me laugh)
lol abdul, you got some credit then huh ;D

By the way this is me (wardy) if you missed my earlier introduction.

I do not wish to be called a troll, newbie, imposter, whiffey, etc etc.
boring news for you but not every one ...just turn tv of dont read news papers .end off !
Lol - I'm not sure what it all means either, except that if you work, your taxes are being used to prop the thing up! Billions of pounds worth of peoples' money are tied up in NR, from shares to mortgages. I assume that means that a mortgage could be transferred elsewhere - at a higher rate??? No....just an idea there, because I don't know!!
Do you have shares in it? You do now.
Lol - Everton's right - for a very short time.
