When i first read about this I thought: "That's really no way for a civilised country to behave". But then I thought - live by the sword, die by the sword.

And in terms of individuals, the imbalance is pretty staggering. Thirteen Israelis died last year - and 373 Palestinians. That does not, in all honesty, sound to me like much of a threat; more like massive over-reaction. (That's just Palestinians killed by Israelis - almost as many were killed by other Palestinians.)

jno,
Did I say Israel was 'near non -existance'?, I don't think I did, unless of course, that and 'fighting for its very existance' means the same thing, and I don't think so.
And i've said before, if the Palestinians really want peace, all thay have to do, is to take ;the destruction of Israel' out of their mandate, but they won't, will they?.
