I have a new phone which does not connect me directly to T-mobile voicemail. Can anyone tell me the number for voicemail? It should be free to collect your messages. cheers

Nope no joy with that.
Go to Messages, Voice Messages, Voice Mailbox Number. To get your number, write down your full phone number including the +44 (don't forget to drop the leading zero from the 07 bit. Between the +44 international bit and the 7 that starts your number, enter 065 and put that whole thing into Mailbox Number. Pressing the 1 on your keypad will now work.
dial 222 It should put you through to a system to set up your voicemail. Follow the prompts and Voila your voicemail is working!

oh yeah yeah yeah,... it works.. cheers guys
My gf has the same problem.  Anyone know if this set up enables the voicemail to ring you when someone has left a message?
Yeah, your phone will beep at you when you get a new message, just like when you get a text. If you haven't got the number set up like willow74 hadn't, then no one can leave a message, so your phone won't beep to tell you there is a message, because no one can leave a message because the phone's not set up. Make sense? Me neither. It's too early.
It all makes sense now, Ralph thanks.
