egg custard! whats a girl to do?

There is a lone egg custard in my fridge just crying out to be eaten. I'm not overly hungry after a big sunday roast but if i don't eat it, it will be no good tomorrow.
What shall i do? Force it down or leave it there?

Is it worth the risk of making me uncomfortably full or what?

I do hate waste though!!

What would you do in my situation?

Stick it in the freezer then in 3 months time you can take it out and chuck it in the bin.

I used to always save stuff, putting it in the fridge and then not using it anyway and my ex hubby used to say, "jules, just chuck it away today rather than chuck it away tomorrow will ya"!

Derek will eat it Jules, if not, try squishing it between your fingers, it'll feel yucky but deeply satisfying.

lol spacechimp, if i did that then id have to cut it in half and its only small, not worth it to be honest.

hellie, im an adult hun, you might do that with your food but i eat properly ;-) Derek has carrot to be going on with, he has taken every bit of food from his bowl and put it in his bedroom, safe as far as he is concerned! Bless him.

funnygirl, if you saw me, you would know that i dont worry about the odd extra pound going on! lol

no the last time i spoke to a hedgehog julie i remember him distinctly telling me that they love egg custard and to stop giving them pedigree chum he was getting a little prickly over it

I do that all the time julie, I hate throwing food away so it goes on a plate in the fridge then a week later its still there and then gets thrown. The thing is I don't feel as bad when its a week old but I feel really bad if I throw it away when its fresh.

he is adjusting well to be honest, think he's getting slightly miffed at keep being woken up at regular intervals during the day though ! lol little man just wants to keep stroking him! No doubt the novelty will soon wear off. He is rather lovely though, did you see his pic on facebook?

bob, im impressed that they stop and talk to you, whenever i try to engage in conversaion with a prickly one, they wave me past pointing at their watch. I wasnt going to get paranoid about it but now you've said that........................

puss, im so glad im not the only one to do that! I just hate throwing away anything, but like you say, if its gone over, no problem! lol
