close coupled toilet

We have had a close coupled toilet fitted with a centre flush button on the top of the cistern cover and want to put a toilet
cleaning block into the cistern ,but we don't know how to get into the cistern----can anybody tell me how.

lift the top up the flush button will be on a cable

Surrounding the flush 'button' should be a washer, unscrew that,(should only be finger tight) remove and lift of lid carefully to insert cleaning block.
