Anyone used Buffalo AOSS
1 Answers
Hi all,
I need to get a new router to serve 5 people ( not used at the same time). I am on VM and I was thinking about getting this router http://www.ebuyer.com/product/97221for 24.99 and then purchasing these http://www.ebuyer.com/product/75269to go with it.
I wanted to use this as I could use the AOSS and it would create a full strength secure network without any complicated settings.
Anyone have any other ideas please? I want to make sure it is the most secure available and is not difficult to set up
Many thanks

On the other hand ... buying matched kit is the best way to ensure easy setup (but not a guarantee).
(don't forget ... ppl with laptops should be able to connect without needing the dongle) ... desktops with a usb dongle in the back ... won't work well either if the box is between it and the router.
anything over 2Mb/s will be good enough for up to 10 users .... surfing ....
large downloads will drastically reduce this. As will 5 wireless connections in the same house at the same time
(do yourself a favour .. get your machine connected by wire)
