What kind of information do I need to find out about a person's standards, beliefs and ethics? What type of questions do I need to ask? Thank you

I guess beliefs would be religion, superstition, witchcraft, astrology, reincarnation etc. Ethics usually covers big questions such as abortion and euthanasia. Standards could be anything really, to do with the way a person behaves and considers acceptable. Some people believe that terrorism is merely "freedom fighting". Some people believe that it is okay to have affairs. Some people consider sex before marriage a sin. Everyone has different standards, possibly due to upbringing and the society/community they live in.
Ask: "if you won �10 million on the lottery, what would you do with the money". How they would use the power of such a sum may tell you a lot about them.
