Interesting about the minced thing. When working in Glasgow many years ago I observed Glaswegians ordering 'Mincie and chips' at the chippie which was a deep fried beef mince pie with....er...chips. To be eaten whilst smoking a Park Drive I also noticed. Probably why Glasgow is the heart attack capital of the UK. Great city though I will add.
