Neff Dishwasher not draining . Any ideas?

Hi I have only since the summer installed a Neff dishwasher (S5433X0GB/13) but have hardly used it ( 10-20 times) however it was given to us ny someone else who had only had it for about six months .It was new when they moved in to a house but they redid the kitchen and got free appliances. For some reason it wont drain out , Ihave checked the hoses for kinks but they are fine and once I have sponged the water out myself it will work ok for the next couple of times then stops draining again. Any clues as to what is causing this would be appreciated .

We had a similar problem, with a different model. The outlet hose had a filter built in and this was blocked with old food. We now make sure most excess food is removed before loading the machine.
