It's a lovely day here - beautiful sunrise, I have just fed the birds and put the washing out and one of the cats is off chasing rabbits down the garden. Only dark cloud is having to go to work in a minute.

Hey lil, shame about that, but if he thinks he is better than you he can go boil his head, the good thing is you did it, it wil give you more confidence, you deserve better than some bloke who thinks like that, plenty more out there and won't be long before you are out again, stick in there, it will happen, maybe while you are in the queue at tescos,

Funnygirl, some of the guys here are kicking off and have gone home because they are not being paid.

All seems like too much effort for me, I am sure there is some loop hole somewhere that Hr will find to say that we are overpaid for something like �6 per year to make up for leap years!

oh what a silly thing, 'not paid on a leap year'. There must be some years that have more working days than others!.
Mind you, if anyone finds a law stating we can get extra pay let me know :)

I know red, it must be the most daft thing I have heard in ages. Some of my hubby's colleagues have gone home and he is out on a job scratching his head with the few remaining. I doubt the strikers will get away with it though.

How are you feeling today? Hope things look / feel better after a night's sleep (of sorts!).

I had the worst night I have had so far, I ended up grizzling like a toddler at 3:30am and squeaking "I just want a little bit of sleep!" LOL. I feel much better now though particularly because I am on my own in the office until around 2pm so I am going to be really naughty and go to the shop and buy a magazine and sit and have a cup of tea, possibly a cake too, and read a magazine when I should be working. In fairness, I have been here since 7am and have managed to get loads done simply because I am on my own, so I think I deserve it :-)
