right thumb

on the odd occasion yet still every day .mostly while streching i get a mad pain in my right thumb , like a shock , it doesn,t move up my arm or anything just my thumb , after the second or two of pain its ok again, what is it? i dislocated the same thumb could this be related to that injury , the hospital put itback but could i of suffered more damage than i knew

Could it be Carpel Tunnel Syndrome? Might be worth Googling.
