My husbands brother left two young kids when he died. The first fathers day afterwards his son who was 7 at the time was really worried about going to school around fathers day, as they would be doing fathers day stuff and he had no daddy any more and his Papa had also passed away the year before. It would break your heart. His mum said to him not to worry because she was sure the teacher would do something special for him. I think he made a littl ething to put on th grave. I think it is quite hard - I said to him that he shouldn't worry because I was sure that not all the boys and girls had daddys although theres hadn't died - they just didn't ever have one - he said he was lucky then, Wee scone!!!
Sorry to be depressing- he is a lovely boy - now coming up for 11 - a credit to his Mum...and his Dad. His little sister is a real cracker - both in looks and personality - she looks like an eskimo - very beautiful eyes - they run in the family - my boys are lucky in that department too - my husband is convinced that there is some oriental blood in his family - the eyes are ever so slightly almond shaped, but huge.
