hi, I would like to take my 4 children away for a couple of days in england or wales. they are ages 5, 6, 8 and 10 so would like them in the same room as my husband and I. Does anyone know of anywhere big enough?
Alternatively, anywhere with interconnecting rooms?
I have looked at apartments but work out quite expensive.

what you need is a "family room", some of the older hotels have these, but a cottage rental might suit your family better.
good luck.
Another alternative is two triple rooms, you in one room with two children and your husband in the other room with the other two children.
What about a holiday camp? I know adults are not always thrilled at this idea but kids usually love it - we did when we were kids -always so much to do & other children to make friends with. Also there is usually supervision which gives the adults a break too.
Centre Parcs do mid week 4 night breaks from 245 for a 2 bedroom cabin that sleeps 6
Butlins say their apartments are from 35 per night
