Hiya ..
Does anyone know if a recipe uses 5oz of granulated sugar what weight would you use if you used the powdered sweetener one (tescos own says is suitable to bake with) .

If your powdered sweetener is anything like *Splenda* then one tablespoonful of sugar = 1 tablespoon of Splenda....
But 5 oz of granulated sugar is about 10 heaped tablespoonfuls - which is an awful lot of sugar - so I think I would go with JD's idea of actually tasting it ! I cannot imagine that that much aspartamine is good for anyone...
