I'm not too sure what strawberries are like at this time of the year, but you need a punnet of them, some double cream, sugar, honey and oats.
Whip the cream until thick enough to spoon. Toast a couple of handfuls of the oats, then mix into the cream with a little sugar and honey ( to taste)- then layer in a glass with the strawberries.
Very simple (and sweet), but de-lish. :)

This one takes about 10 minutes:
Almond Cream
1 cup sour cream
3 Tbsp powdered sugar
1-1/2 Tbsp. almond liqueur
1 tsp. almond extract
Combine first 4 ingredients in small bowl and stir well to blend.
Cover and chill until ready to use
Serve cream over strawberries, pineapple, bananas or blueberries.
If you want to get a little fancy, we, here in the U.S. have boxed cookies (ya'll call them biscuits, no?) that are called Vanilla Wafers(Looks like this http://www.american-trading.com/food/images/sn acks/vwafers.jpg ). They are great for making the crust for cheese cake when crushed, by the way. Mrs. C lines the bottom of small glass dessert bowls with a few of the wafers, places a mix of blueberries and pineapple on top, fills with the above Almond Cream and tops with a few slivered almonds for crunch. It needs to be served within about an hour of preparation so the wafers don't get soggy...
