true but remember in a democracy that tory minister was at least voted into office
commandant ken dishes out jobs and favours to his minority mates as often demonstrated for political ends not on merit or ability
of course politicians are mostly a dodgy lot (with a few exceptions, say the likes of tony benn and anne widdecombe, who say it like they think it), its all about how dodgy you are on the dodgy scale of 1 low and 10 high,
livingstone i presume is a 10

Very confusing democracy argument, helpmetoo.
Are you complaining that Jasper wasn't voted into office, even though he was appointed by Livingtone, who was?
How is that different from Frederick Conway (who wasn't voted into office) being appointed by Derek Conway (who was)?
I genuinely don't understand your point.

livingstone has lost the plot i believe,
he and all he stands for and his methods are despised by hardworking londoners
a vast proportion of the money leached off contributing londoners is slid over to numpty satellite operations and tfl which do b all apart from promote ken as god and ensuring that at the next election they know where to put their cross

That's sneaky of him. Doing things that Londoners like so that they'll vote for him. That puts us out.
And you complain that he's undemocratic.
I'm a hardworking Londonder who loves the congestion charge and the fact that money is being pumped into our decrepiit transport system. Should I despise it?
