I'm rather useless at technical things, to say the least lol, but i would like to know, if my computer has 45 viruses, as it says it has, how can i delete them or what should i do? please no, "bin it" or "kill it" answers lol, that's my train of thought! Am losing the will to live with its mutant powers, and mine! xx

Which program is telliing you that you have 45 viruses? Try scanning online at Trend Micro before you go deleting anything.

If it is a little pop-up window telling you that you have 45 viruses, then it may well be an advertising window trying to get you to buy their virus checker which will get rid of it.

As Cakeboy says this could be an ad for software, and you may not have any virus infections at all. If in doubt download and install Spybot and Ad-Aware 2007, both of which are free, and between them they will detect and delete any virus or malware you may have.
