The person was called ripley, and I sincerely hope that he or she managed to get some comfort, and that help can be given. I found the post quite distressing.

I've been wondering about ripley all afternoon. I hope he or she(we never did find out) is ok and managed to get into see the doctor. I think we managed to help a bit and everyone gave great advice.

I agree girls. To me, this sounded like a really genuine cry for help, and I think everyone replied brilliantly really, but when you're that depressed, who knows if words make an impact at all? I just hope this person can cling onto that little bit of sanity, and eventually make their way back, and feel better. Nothing can ever be that bad that a person can't be helped, but it's just knowing where to turn isn't it? I think you've been great. x
