dream what does it mean ?

i have this dream every so often when im in a house and ive never been in it before and i know every nook and cranny of it. even a secret room. in the dream i get the impression that this house is my destiny and im fated to end up there i know im going to find it in reality one day and its really wierd. no i dont drink heavily before i go to sleep and no i didnt have cheese for supper either. its just well wierd and i wondered if anyone had any ideas what it could mean. also i dreamt i had v dirty sex with robbie williams and it was fab !!!!!! yes im in a happy well satisfied relationship but why did i dream about that ????

The rooms ina house are (apparently) very symbolic in a dream.

BAsement/cellar - represents the subconsious, and memories suppressed. It can also represent hidden sexuality issues (!) and family beliefs.

Bathroom: Attitude to personal cleanliness and / or ourmost private thoughts

bedroom: - a place of safety wehere we can relax and / or be sensual

Hall: How we meet and relate to others

Kitchen: The "heart" of the home. How we nurture and care for others.

Library: our minds, how we store and use info

There we go .... according to Freud anyway.

PS - I love dreams (remeber my dreams upon wakening most days...I wish AB had a section just for dreams.

Hi, I am amazed, it sounds like a dream my friend has had . She too dreams of one house that she can see herself in, and she knows its location and has even visited it !! She also knows her way about inside, now while it indeed is a very nice house ( big detached) she doesn't know who lives there now or has ever been in it. Yet she still says she can picture the inside of it. Spooky eh ? My friend is 'gifted' able to feel presence, and I wonder if the two are tied up ? She will be excited when I tell her about this thread !!

flump, i too know my way around the house and it is a huge detached place isnt it odd ? i feel in the dream that i am being watched and its by an elderly lady who isnt really there

Wow me too!
I dream about certain houses, 2 really, I can see each one in detail. Both detached and large. One has windows all around and the other has lots of levels and is v spooky and the further up the floors you go, the scarier it is. I have never been in the top room.
Gives me shivers just thinking about it.

hell, iv had this dream too, and the one about havin dirty jiggy with robbie williams!!! i havent a clue wot it means, but i woke up happy ;-)
