We bought a picture (oil/acrylic) in Paris recently as a memento of our 25th wedding anniversary. Anyway, to avoid boring you further my question is..Has anyone got a rough idea of how much it would cost to have it put in a frame so that we can put it up on the wall. The picture is 50cmx40cm. Many thanks in advance.

That's totally impossible to answer. It depends on the frame and the quality. You could spend 40, you could spend hundreds.

Actually, 40 is probably the very least you can expect it to be. Go from there.
Try here - you can choose your frame and size etc and it will price it up for you - they can do standard or custome sizes.
Sorry, forgot the link!!!

Take your tape measure and go to some car boots. I bought a very large frame with glass, for 1 and put my own picture in it. A frame shop would always make you up a mount board if you need it. You could always try painting the frame to make it more original, cream is good at the moment. Good luck. Frame shops are way over the top expensive so do it yourself !
