hi all, just for starters - I am not particularly religious I have my own beliefs and ideas about things (as do we all) but sometimes I find an interesting read and I like to hear peoples views. and since you all (the various religions on here)seem to like a good argument then I think,if you have the time to read it,it would be interesting to hear your views on This book (free PDF download)

as it is primarily directed to the people of the three major religions of the world (Islam, Judaism and Christianity), whose roots are in the God of Abraham.and the author Ronald Weinland reckons he has been sent to all three.
so have a read and then come back and have a good discussion (argument)

Would you mind terribly if I wait to see whether the demise of the US "over the next year" actually occurs and then read it? I think I would probably notice if the US failed to be there and that would be sufficient to make me a little more inclined to read what is, I'm sure, a thrilling read of unparallelled truth.

Regretably, my next few months are dedicated to investigating the claims of the weird vegan bloke who walks up and down Oxford Street with the big sign proclaiming, 'Golf Sale - Next Left'.

lol read it if and when you like waldo I might even get round to reading properly myself one day when I get bored!
so on first impressions waldo the blokes another nutter?
We shall see when America's demise is upon us, won't we, but I'm not greatly inspired to start reading, shall we say.
I'll read it - but I have to say on first impression, yes, he's not quite all the ticket. I imagine my final impression will confirm that.
The interesting thing - no, no, I mean the boring thing - about this man (certainly a nutter) is what he is going to say or do when these prophecies of his don't come true, brave as he is in placing them so imminent.

Most people won't have heard of them, of course, so he'll be immune from universal derision, and maybe his discipes will make the usual excuses.
Chakka It reminds me of the people who predict the end of the world will occur on a certain day. They all troop off up mountains, or sit in circles holding hands and singing, waiting the the momentous event - and then it doesn't happen. Wonder if they ever feel just a little embarrassed?
The three major religions ? Did you forget Buddhism ?
Hinduism ? Paganism ? Or did you just mean the nasty ones.
