Air Transat

Hi All!

Has anyone travelled with Air Transat? If so, is it a good airline? Never heard of it before but the price to Canada is decent. I would like to know things like leg room, meals on board, entertainment, comfort etc.

Flew with them to Vancouver in 1999. I was worried beforehand cos they mostly used a knackered old TriStar, but thankfully this time they had a new Airbus.

Can't remember anything negative about the flight, apart from some idiot trying to open the main door thinking it was the toilet!!

Hi,
Have flown with them many times, in Club which is excellent, (due to being over six foot tall) noticed an item on their site a couple of weeks ago that they are going to increase their leg room to 32 inches in May of this year in economy. Meals ok,entertainment ok, with extra leg room comfort will be ok , I personally would not fly economy with them until after May 2008 (leg room) check the plane you hope they will use as they do have some some ageing stock.Have you checked Zoom Airlines with an upgrade??
